The Legends of Milana

By A. L. Travis

Would you like your class to interact with an author?

A.L. Travis does two types of author visits!

Free Virtual Author Visits - A.L. can connect to your class through the internet or telephone for an interview, and can get books for your class or school at the teacher discount price.  Free bookmarks for your entire class when you purchase any number of books!  Contact LegendsOfMilana@aol.com for more information or to arrange a Free Virtual Author Visit.

Paid Author Visits - A.L. will come to your school and speak to students about what it is like to write books, character developement tricks, the publishing world of today, and the importance of following their dreams.  Other topics that are important to you or your students can be covered.  Visit includes book give-aways, free bookmarks, and students will be able to purchase books directly from the author during the visit.  Paid visits are usually for larger groups of students, such as speaking with all of the fourth-graders at once, or parent/family nights.

Contact A.L. Travis at LegendsOfMilana@aol.com for more about the cost of Paid Author Visits, as well as information about how two or three nearby schools can get together to cover the cost (without leaving their schools)!

What Educators had to say about their Author Visits:

“Thank you Anna for your visit to Fairlawn. My students are still talking about your visit. Thanks for the personal words of encouragement to our students.”

 S. Knight – Fairlawn Elementary, FL

“Her enthusiasm and rapport with the students were great.  She was warm and bubbly and down to earth with the kids.  I think they appreciated that.  They also enjoyed listening to her read from the book.”

 D. Tedder – Lawnwood Elementary

“The kids loved you.  Of course, so did I!  We absolutely got no work done after you left, but the conversation was wonderful.  Much was about pursuing your dreams.  It branched into learning and music and so on.  It was one of those times you just let flow because it is better than ‘learning.’ ”

B. Lee – Westwood High School, FL
